Position Responsibilities
The responsibilities of an Electrical Engineer include designing and developing electrical systems, conducting testing and troubleshooting, reviewing plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations, staying updated with industry trends and best practices, providing technical support and guidance, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses, implementing safety measures, and overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
Position Qualifications
Qualifications for an Electrical Engineer role include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field, proven experience in electrical engineering, strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and regulations, proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and electrical simulation tools, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities, ability to work independently and collaboratively, attention to detail and organizational skills, knowledge of electrical safety protocols and best practices, familiarity with renewable energy systems and sustainable design principles is a plus, and possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications is advantageous.
